Extension Privacy Notice
Mesh Rider connects your browser to a radio whose address you enter. It sends authentication credentials and the requests needed to view or manage that radio directly to the selected radio. Depending on the feature you use, requests include configuration settings, firmware files or diagnostic commands; responses include radio identity, status, configuration and diagnostic/download data.
The extension does not send these requests to a Doodle Labs analytics service. Application code, rendering files and fallback fonts are packaged locally. Browser and operating-system update/store traffic is controlled by those products, not by this extension.
Some app links open external feedback forms or app stores at your request. Those sites apply their own privacy terms. These links are separate from radio login and the core packaged interface does not depend on the internet.
The extension remembers up to 20 normalized radio addresses in local extension storage so you can choose a radio on a later launch. The connect page shows remembered radios that are currently reachable as chips; the refresh icon beside the heading checks them again. Addresses are not synced to a cloud service by the extension. The small x on a chip forgets that address; browser site permission is managed separately. Login credentials, session tokens and radio caches are held in the open application tab's memory and are not saved in local browser storage. Closing or navigating away from the tab discards its application session. Radio-side sessions and records follow the radio firmware's behavior. Files you explicitly download remain wherever your browser saves them.
The extension requests site access when you choose a radio. Browser permission patterns may cover all ports for that host and scheme; the application sends requests only to the exact origin you entered. You can remove granted site access in browser extension settings. Uninstalling removes the extension; it does not delete downloaded files or records on the radio.
Diagnostic archives generated by the radio can include device configuration (including /etc/config), logs and operational information. Treat downloaded archives as potentially sensitive device data. The extension never submits an archive to Doodle Labs automatically.
